Your privacy on the Internet is most important. This privacy statement describes RDY’s policy regarding the collection and sharing of information about visitors through the RDY website.
What information do we collect?
Use of the site
In general, you can browse the RDY site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. The only information we collect during general browsing is from standard server logs. This includes your IP (Internet Protocol) address, domain name, browser type, operating system, and information such as the website that referred you to us, the files you download, the pages you visit, and the dates/times of those visits.
Collection of personally identifiable information
If you sign up for a newsletter, log in to certain RDY pages, order a book, request information, provide feedback, apply for a job, join a newsgroup or join an email list, you will be asked to provide personal information , such as your name, postal address and email address. This information is collected only with your knowledge and permission and is stored in various RDY databases and mailing lists. If you buy something online, you may be asked to enter your credit card information. This data will be transferred to a secure online payment service hosted outside of RDY. RDY does not store credit card information. RDY sites with specific personal data collection requirements may post site-specific privacy policies.
In these cases, site-specific policies will supplement this general RDY Privacy Policy, but provide additional site-specific details. For certain RDY pages, a cookie* is set when registering or providing personal data. By setting this cookie, RDY will remember your information the next time you visit, so you don’t have to re-enter your information. It helps us provide you with a better service. Joining electronic newsgroups may mean that other participants in the newsgroup (including non-RDY employees) will see personal information to which you have voluntarily subscribed. For open newsgroups, this information will be public.
What does RDY do with the information it collects?
Normal use of the website
Information collected during general browsing of the “ryd.sk” domain is used to analyze trends and usage of the RDY site and to improve the site’s usefulness. It is not associated with any personal information.
Personally Identifiable Information
RDY may use the personal information you provide to:
- Contact you – either in response to a question or suggestion, or to send you newsletters, documents, publications, etc.
- Manage and process your job application.
- Get paid for purchases through the site (via credit card).
- “Remember” your online profile and preferences.
- Help you quickly find information that is relevant to you based on your interests and help us create site content that is most relevant to you.

What if I don’t want to provide personal data?
Providing personal data on the RDY website is optional. If you choose not to provide personal information, you can still browse and use the RDY site, but you will not be able to take certain actions, such as purchasing goods, signing up for a newsletter, or applying for a job.
Deactivation and change of information
You may cancel or modify your information at any time by returning to the website where you first provided the information and contacting the point of contact for that RDY site/department. If contact information is not listed on the page, you can contact us here.
Security
We do not sell or share any personally identifiable information voluntarily provided on the RDY Site with any third party. Any information provided to RDY by users of the RDY Site is held with the utmost care and security and will not be used in any manner other than as set forth in this Privacy Policy or in any site-specific policies, or in ways that you have expressly consented to. RDY uses a variety of technologies and security measures to protect information stored in our systems from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.
All our RDY employees have access to and are associated with the processing of personal data, they are obliged to respect the confidentiality of official business matters, including personal data.
The RDY site contains links to sites outside our domain. RDY is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites.
